This film chronicles the journey of a sophisticated young schoolteacher whose city upbringing contrasts greatly with her new-found environment. Her reluctance to form relationships with other villagers takes a turn as she discovers a friendship in the place she never expected: with her students. With little time remaining during her placement at a village school, it is up to her to reveal the shocking discovery she has made. But will local folks believe this arrogant city woman?

Biography:
Tawanda Gunda Mupengo is a product of the UNESCO Film and Television Training Project Harare. He has since directed a number of shorts and documentaries, including Tanyaradzwa (2005) and Spell My Name (Peretera Maneta – 2005). He is one of the most promising young directors from Zimbabwe.
