Jeremy Handler graduated Cum Laude from the Theatre Film & Television School at UCLA. While a student, he wrote and directed the award-winning Strangers and Neighbors, a 16mm short film. On returning to South Africa, he was selected to direct The Return, a 16mm 26 minute drama for MNET New Directions. Gaining momentum, he successfully pitched and was selected to direct Husk for Film Four UK.
