We see how photographer, Baudouin Mouanda juxtaposes different worlds to create strikingly beautiful pictures and the obstacles facing photographers in the Congo.

Philippe Cordey is an eclectic and multi-talented cinematographer, filmmaker, and photographer. As a cinematographer, he has photographed numerous European award winning feature films, documentaries, commercials, and corporate films over the last 35 years. He is one of Switzerland’s leading DP’s, when it comes to cinema direct documentary film shooting. Cordey has authored and filmed Congolese Dreams, a portrait of Baudouin Mouanda, a young Congolese photographer. The film is a part of the Aljazerra English-produced, Artscape: The New African Photography. Cordey also pursues a personal long-established photographic body of work. Learn More
