At seventeen, Seyna, a teenager from Cameroon is passionate about French history, the country where she was born and with which she is deeply in love. Her diploma in hand, and having recently passed her baccalauréat, Seyna aspires to one thing only: getting French citizenship. Her father Amidou, however, is fiercely opposed to this.

Josza Anjembe

After training in Journalism and Political Sciences, Josza Anjembe worked for several television shows. In 2008, she started directing her first documentary, Massage à la Camerounaise, which was screened at several festivals and on French television. Le bleu blanc rouge de mes cheveux, her first fiction film, received many awards at prestigious film festivals and was nominated for a César Award. Learn More
